A: No, you have three opportunities to pass the exam.
Q: How long does it take to become a DSA Member?
A: The application process is rather quick.  Once you submit your application, a DSA staff member will review it and notify you of your membership within 3-5 weeks.
Q: How do I know which membership is right for me?
A: Click on Become a DSA Certified Professional and then the sub links on the right (membership requirements) will explain each category clearly.
Q: I have no formal education as an interior decorator. What will your certification do for me?
A: Education is critical to your success, where ever you get it.  DSA Certification will greatly enhance your knowledge and provide you the opportunity to participate in DSA's national consumer referral program.
Q: How do I become a DSA Certified Professional?
A: Simply click on the Become a DSA Certified Professional link and choose the appropriate application.  Sign up online or download and mail in.  Pay for your application/exam, take the exam if applicable and your membership will be approved upon acceptance.  It's that easy!
Q: How do I find a DSA Certified Professional in my area?
A: Click on the Find a DSA Certified Professional link and fill out the form provided.  A DSA staff member will email you a list of those in your area.
Q: How do I update my Membership profile?
A: Click on I am a DSA Certified Professional, then click the sub link on the right that says update your membership profile.
Q: How will I know when my membership needs to be renewed?
A: There are two ways.  A DSA staff member will email you to notify you in advance, and the Update Your Profile link on I am a DSA Certified Professional page will tell you as well.
